Drivers & Power Handling
The system pairs a JBL 12 in low-frequency driver with a 64 mm edgewound ribbon voice coil—which provides greater cross-sectional wire area than round wire designs for improved efficiency—with a JBL 2414H-C 25 mm polymer diaphragm compression driver. The advanced network topology crossover at 2.1 kHz uses high-voltage capacitors and inductors with heavy gauge wire to handle 250 watts continuous and 1000 watts peak power without saturation, while SonicGuard™ protection safeguards the high-frequency driver from excess power during live performance.
