About this listing
Offered in this listing a rare bass of Ibenz' Roadstar II Series, a RB924 DeLuxe that was produced in 1983 at the highly acclaimed FujiGen Gakki plant located in Matsumoto, Nagano JAPAN. The Fujigen facility quickly gained an outstanding reputation shortly after it’s inception in Nagano, as the excellence in quality and craftsmanship of the instruments produced there was quickly recognized. The Fujigen factory in Nagano is without doubt Ibanez’s most highly regarded manufacturing facility, and retains that same prestigious designation to this day.The finish on this bass is in very good condition throughout as one can see by the pictures posted. As to be expected on a 43 year old instrument there is the occasional small nick and/or smaller speck in the finish here and there that can be found if examined closely but they don’t affect the overall great cosmetic appearance of the guitar. An instrument that is as beautiful as it is rare! The RB924 was discontinued after 1984.Sells with and ships in the padded gigbag shown.SPECIFICATIONS:Model name: RB924 DeluxeYears offered: 1983-1984Made in: JapanFinish: Cherry Sunburst (CS)Body type: Solid bodyBody material:Alder w/ Bird's eye maple topNeck joint:AANJBridge: Accu-cast B II (19mm string spacing)Knob style: Sure Grip IINeck type: D shapeNeck material: 1-piece mapleScale length: 864mm / 34"Fingerboard material: RosewoodFingerboard inlays: White dot and black side dotsFrets: 24 / mediumNut: Plastic (39mm)Bridge pickup: Super P5S passiveNeck pickup: Super J6 passiveControls: Master volume / master tone / balancer / Tri sound switch
