I'm the second owner; had it for a number of years, just don't need it in my arsenal. Upon researching, E840796 is a 1984 model made in Japan at the Terada Plant, Japan; Terada Musical Instrument CO., May 1984 #796.Simply a very nice guitar. A good 1 11/16" nut, lots of room up the neck. The neck is straight with just a tad of relief. Strung with D'Addario Chromes; 12's or maybe a mixed set of 12/13s. I like heavier strings with a bit of high action. Intonation may need tweaking according to your strings, playing style, climate. The only real blemish is above the mystery holes. Repairman and I have no idea what was there. The toggle switch is new.The wiring is not Gibson style, which personally I like. Frets have wear, but not a problem for me. On good authority, that wonderful vibrato is most definitely a licensed BIGSBY, perhaps from China. Very nice feel and good amount of movement. Appears to be an aftermarket installation. I like them stiff, it can be adjusted.Not sure if the case is the original, but a good fit; not super strong, but good.
