Overview
The Gibson Les Paul Traditional Pro II '60s electric guitar marries old and new by adding push-pull knobs for coil-tapping and volume boost, and a '60s neck profile to the Les Paul Traditional series. Features a mahogany body and neck, rosewood fretboard, figured maple top, and Classic '57/Super '57 humbuckers. Available with a '50s neck profile on the Gibson Les Paul Traditional Pro II '50s, produced concurrently. These models are distinct from the Les Paul Traditional Pro Exclusive which had a plain maple top, no boost circuit, and different pickups. They can be distinguished by the presence of a 9-volt battery compartment on the rear of the Traditional Pro IIs.
