About this listing
This 2008 Gibson Flying V 50th Anniversary Korina commemorates five decades of one of Gibson's most recognizable electric guitar designs. Built with a korina body and neck, it revisits the material used on the original 1958 Flying V, pairing its distinctive angular shape with the lively response that has made these instruments so memorable. The Natural finish highlights the grain of the korina, while the traditional two-humbucker layout and string-through body preserve the clean, functional design of the original concept. Produced as part of the model's 50th anniversary celebration, this Flying V honors an instrument that was initially ahead of its time before becoming a lasting fixture in the world of electric guitars.Includes OHSC and case candy.
