About this listing
The Focusrite RedNet A16R MkII is a 1U rackmount, 16-channel bidirectional analogue interface for Dante audio-over-IP networks. It provides 16 channels of high-quality A-D and D-A conversion with up to 120dB converter dynamic range (A-weighted), plus an additional stereo pair of AES3 I/O on XLR connectors.
Remote Control and Redundancy
Individual input and output channel level controls are accessible through RedNet Control software, allowing precise calibration across all 16 channels. Operating levels are switchable between +18dBu and +24dBu. The unit includes network and power supply redundancy with automatic failover, making it suitable for critical-path applications in live sound, broadcast, post-production, and studio environments.
Connectivity
16 x analogue line inputs on 2 x DB25 (AES59)
16 x analogue line outputs on 2 x DB25 (AES59)
1 x AES3 input on female XLR (switchable with analogue channels 15-16 at quad rates, also accepts DARS)
1 x AES3 output on male XLR (duplicates analogue channels 15-16 at quad rates)
Word Clock input on BNC (switchable 75 ohm termination)
Word Clock output on BNC
2 x etherCON Dante ports (redundant or daisy-chain mode, compatible with standard RJ45)
2 x IEC power inlets with retaining clips (dual redundant PSUs)
