The G-5 VG Stratocaster features a built in sound engine that allows players to dial in a wide variety of sounds and instruments directly from their guitar without the need for an external synthesizer. The G-5's unique controls allow for the selection of different guitars including a single coil Telecaster sound, a L4 jazzbox type tone, a Martin type acoustic sound as well as several different guitar sounds. Additionally, it offers alternate tunings like drop D, open G, and baritone are available at the flip of a switch.
