About this listing
Here for sale we have an Epiphone Les Paul Custom Prophecy Plus in faded Midnight Sapphire finish. Made in 2012 in China this guitar features a set-neck construction consisting of a Mahogany body, Mahogany neck and 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard. A pair of Active EMG humbucking pickups are fitted. An Active EMG 85 is fitted in the neck and an Active EMG 81 is fitted in the bridge. These are wired to a 3-way pickup selector and independent volume and tone controls. The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, whilst providing a smooth and articulate playing experience across the register. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and with its 14” radius provides a smooth and durable playing surface for the user to explore. The familiar lines of the body feel great in the arms, ensuring comfort in both standing and seated positions. The pair of EMG humbucking pickups installed in this instrument deliver an impressive range of tones. The neck pickup delivers a thick and full-bodied tone, perfect for lead lines and solos thanks to a powerful output. The bridge is of course brighter, cutting easily through the mix when driving the amp.
