The footswitch turns the pedal on and off, while the giant knob controls the output volume. That's it. The rest is yours to use. Want less gain? Turn down your guitar's volume knob. Want a darker rhythm tone? Turn down your guitar's tone control. Audio will not pass without power.Power SupplyThis device uses a standard 9-volt DC power supply with a 2.1 mm center negative barrel. We always recommend transformer-isolated wall power supplies specifically designed for pedals or power supplies with multiple isolated outputs. Pedals will produce additional noise if there is ripple or dirty power. Switching power supplies, daisy-chaining, and non-pedal-specific power supplies do not filter dirty power well and allow unwanted noise to pass through. DO NOT OPERATE AT HIGHER VOLTAGES.
