The Galaxie Spruce/Mahogany is a P-90 loaded simplified version of the fancy 4 pickup Galaxie that we’ve been making since the late 90’s. Rather than the original solid body design, this one has a spruce top on a chambered mahogany body. The guitar sounds and reacts like a standard solid body guitar but with a more woody hollowness. The tone is bright, punchy and Jazzmastery. The rosewood neck is bound with pearl dot inlay. The body is also bound with a bound F-hole.This particular guitar has handmade wooden P-90 covers installed The scale is 25.5”, the bone nut is 43mm and the radius is 10”. The neck has a medium thickness feel. All the frets are leveled and dressed and setup to perfection with 10 gauge strings. Comes with a padded DiPinto gig bag.
