Danelectro “Coral” Electric Sitar 1967Condition: “Fair”NotesThe guitar shows typical finish wear for an instrument from the late 60s. There is checking in the gloss neck finish and the body shows discoloration, marks, scratches, dings, etc…Currently it is strung with 10-46 strings with a wound G. The necks on these are non-adjustable but have two steel beams running through them. Considering all this the neck is relatively straight which is great. The spruce core and masonite top and back have had some separation / movement at their glue joints. They’re stable but visible and have caused some gaps or finish damage. It seems to be common on these due to the construction. In general the hardware is aged / has patina. No harp tuner is included for the sympathetic strings.
