Video: Fano Guitars Standard JM6 & Standard SP6

The Fano Standard series represents the company’s own “greatest hits” collection, combining the most popular features and options from its history of custom builds into off-the-shelf guitars.

The Fano Standard JM6

Decidedly retro looking, the JM6 is an updated interpretation of the Jazzmaster, and is available with either humbuckers or P90s. It has an alder body and maple amber-tint neck. The neck measures 25.5″, with 22 frets, a compound radius that ranges from 7.25″ to 9.5″, and a C-profile. The guitar features lightly-aged and distressed hardware, including a stop-tail bridge and nitrocellulose lacquer. It’s available in Bull Black, Candy Apple Red and Ice Blue Metallic.

The Fano Standard SP6

The SP6 combines the body shape of a Les Paul Junior with Telecaster-like hardware and a bolt-on neck. A T-style single coil sits nestled in the bridge position for twang, and a P90 at the neck for a dose of snarl. The compound radius neck ranges from 10” to 16”, with a 24.75” scale and 22 frets. It’s available in Bull Black, Olympic White and Ice Blue Metallic nitrocellulose lacquer.
