The Radial SW8 MK2 is a professional 8-channel auto-switcher designed to eliminate dead air and technical glitches in live shows reliant on backing tracks. It operates as a failsafe, seamlessly and silently switching from a primary playback rig to a synchronized backup machine the moment a signal drops.

Core Functionality Redundant Switching: Connects two distinct multi-channel playback systems (like laptops or interfaces) simultaneously. Adjustable Gate: Monitors a continuous pilot tone (such as SMPTE timecode) or the main audio signal. If the signal drops below the threshold, it triggers an instant switch to the backup.
