Lone Tree Small Jumbo 2020 - Gloss Top

2020 Lone Tree Small Jumbo, built by luthier Steve Doreen on Vancouver Island.

Engelmann Spruce top with bearclaw finish.  Black walnut back and sides.  All solid wood. The soundboard is finished with gloss lacquer while the back and sides contain more of a matte finish, with hand-rubbed Tru-oil.  The neck also has a Tru-oil finish.  Ebony fingerboard, bridge and headstock veneer.  This guitar has an amazing tone and the top soundport makes the playing experience fantastic.  The armrest bevel makes the guitar very comfortable to play and the neck profile can be considered fast and responsive.  The profile is modeled after the neck profile of a Martin OM.  The neck has a nut width of 45 mm and a string spacing slightly greater than average, at 2 and 3/16”, making the guitar very suitable for fingerstyle playing.  The action of the guitar is set low.  The guitar is outfitted with a K&K Pure Mini pickup and comes with a high quality TKL hardshell case.  The condition of the guitar is excellent, with only a few minor dings on the body binding, due to regular use.  The guitar was always stored in a humidity-regulated space.

This guitar was custom built in 2020, before guitars built by independent luthiers increased and is being sold to simply cover the cost of the initial purchase.  This is a chance for a new owner to have a boutique guitar with custom features (like the armrest bevel and top sound port) at quite a favourable price.  The guitar can be shipped for additional shipping costs.
