The BB series, a long-selling model in Yamaha's extensive bass lineup since its release in 1978, has been loved for many years.
This BB434M, while positioned as an entry-level model, features a classic alder body shape and a 5-piece maple/mahogany laminate neck.
With a bolt-on joint, an original bridge structure that efficiently transmits string vibrations by routing the strings diagonally through the body, and a P/J pickup layout, this model focuses on "passive sound," resulting in a clear sound and excellent playability.
The PJ pickup configuration combines the thickness of a Precision Bass with the clarity of a Jazz Bass, resulting in a robust yet straightforward and easy-to-handle sound.
Its versatility makes it highly recommended as a first bass!
