The Flying Saucer blends retro and modern styles under the ‘New Space Age’ concept.

‘Eris’ is the fifth model in the Flying V series, following the first.

The basic design of the Flying V is modelled on G Company’s 1967 FV, faithfully reproducing the slim body thickness, headstock angle and neck grip. Like the original, mahogany is used for the body and neck, with lightweight timber selected to achieve a total weight of 3.02 kg.

The slim neck with a nut width of 40.5 mm offers playability that will appeal to all players.

Naturally, the profile remains true to the 1960s, reproducing a substantial grip up to around the 12th fret.

Alongside its contribution to a rich, full-bodied sound, you can enjoy playing whilst feeling that vintage feel in your left hand.

The tuners are classic Kluson, and the twin-knob design, typical of the 1960s, adds a stylish accent to the look.

The bridge and tailpiece—crucial components for the sound—have been upgraded to TonePros with a locking mechanism.

And, above all, the standout feature is the dull, silvery finish inspired by the dwarf planet Eris.

Not only does it look great on stage, but the sophisticated metallic colour also possesses a depth that never grows tiresome to behold.

The sound is characterised by the sweet mid-range typical of lightweight mahogany.

Contrary to its appearance, it produces a sound that would work well for blues and other genres; I believe the all-lacquer finish plays no small part in this.

A sophisticated colour scheme, combined with playability and a sound brimming with vintage feel.

A Flying V unlike any other – please do come and experience it for yourself!
