The is a Sean Wayland "Waylinator" pocket synthesizer and effects box.

It's primary function is as a small synthesizer.

To use it as a synthesizer you need a regular 5 pin DIN midi cable.

It will not accept MIDI over USB. It will not send synthesizer sounds when triggered with audio.

It has been well tested with various keyboards, EWI instruments and midi guitars that can send midi out.

It is possible to use the onboard effects with audio input only if desired. There are 2 patches dedicated to this which use stereo or mono input.

It is powered by micro usb and inputs and outputs are all 1/8 inch jacks.

The unit's current iteration is a fairly "beta" version of the box. It sounds great but the box is basic 3d printed plastic and as such is fragile. I have been bringing them to gigs with no box at all with no problem. If the box it comes with is not to your liking you could use it naked or 3D print your own enclosure. The current version of the enclosure is in photograph.

Very lighweight , has synth sounds and effects hand programmed by Sean Wayland.

Has a bank of EWI patches included many different systems to produce chords from one note including "Rotators" , "chord per key" and "Lick Chords" . There are alternate midi control mapping systems like the bottom half of the keyboard controlling the top half and Joe Zawinul style "reversed" keyboard.

There is a bank of patches that allow the onboard synth to be blended with external synths and chord generators and run through the onboard effects.

Does not come with cables or power supply !
