- Spooling Modes: Controls to adjust or lock spooling speeds (FF Spool mode, REW Spool mode).
- Locator Functions: "Search-to-Cue" (STC) capability, coupled with a built-in tape timer/counter display for exact time navigation.
- Convenience Toggles: Includes buttons for Lift Defeat (to hear tape against heads while winding) and Reset.
- Connectivity: Connects to the main tape transport using a specialized hardwired cable, 25 feet
