Fender Telecaster, made in Corona (California, USA) in March 2002 as a limited edition (only 50 units) with exclusive specifications for Manny’s Musical Instruments in New York, the historic shop where even Hendrix bought his guitars.

Purchased personally before the store’s permanent closure, selected from among many for its above-average tone (better than many Custom Shop models in the store) and great versatility, as it delivers a warm, fat sound without sacrificing the classic Tele twang.

A guitar with exclusive specifications for Manny’s limited run (also marked on the inside): alder body (instead of ash), seasoned and decidedly resonant, nitro-finished in Sunburst 2 tones and reliced by the Custom Shop, with all hardware beautifully oxidized to match the relic finish.

The neck and fretboard are made of maple, already dark blond from age, with a “comfort C” profile, 22 “narrow tall” frets, and a 9.5" radius. It features a 3-brass saddle American Vintage bridge.

It is equipped with the fantastic handwound '51 Nocaster pickups, which deliver a very articulate sound true to their name; created with the original design in mind to faithfully reproduce the twang of the original Nocaster, with solid low frequencies and clear, balanced mids. The electronics feature treble bleed, which ensures that the volume knob’s range does not affect the mid and high frequencies during play.

In exceptional condition despite being 24 years old, which only adds to its appeal. Recently professionally set up, including new strings, tuners and electronics cleaning.

Includes a hard tweed case from Manny's Musical Instruments (extremely rare).
