1960s Gibson ES-330 Case, Black w/ Yellow Lining

Howdy. Up for sale is a nice case for a later 1960s Gibson ES-330.

This case fits the ES-330 with the deeper neck set and shorter overall length. This case is not for the longer ES-335.

The interior length is about 41" or 41.25" . At the hips the interior of the case is about 16". The outside length of the case is about 42.25".

All these case for Gibson ES thinline guitars are pretty much the same from the neck pocket down to where the end of the body goes. The difference is how long the end of the case for the headstock extends from the case pocket. I think there are three lengths of cases. One is for the ES-335 12 string, one for the ES-335 and one for the ES-330.

The length of a 1960s Gibson ES-330 guitar in 39 3/4". An ES-335 is about 41" overall length.

An ES-335 12 string has an overall length of 43 1/4".

Condition is pretty clean. You could call it very good depending on how picky you are. It has a few scuffs . The lining and covering still look pretty bright and shiny. The case closes well and all of the latches and hinges are working.

The case has received a basic cleaning. There is a light smell at the moment from carpet fresh or something like that. The case had a clean copy ES-330 in it from about 1970. It looks like the case has been sitting in a closet for 50 years.

I noticed that the Reverb listing template has auto filled some incorrect information for this case. This case is for an ES-330 not an ES-335. It has the following listed which is incorrect;
