A ultra rare ( dual membrane ) AKG D900 dynamic shotgun microphone!
Like the AKG 202 “rocket” microphones, it picks up the high frequencies from the front and the low frequencies from the back.. it’s often called dual membrane but it’s actually some kind of “ported” single membrane system.
It has a small superficial dent in the tube somewhere , but nothing dramatic, for the rest it’s in great condition!
It sounds great, it’s a conversation piece, and as far as I know it’s the only dynamic shotgun mic in the world! ( for a reason I guess, but still…. )
