From the Fender "A-Series" of guitars made just after the iconic JV series in the mid 1980's by the Fujigen factory in Japan, the SST-36 was a Squier branded model that was designed to replicate the late '50's Stratocaster.
Basswood body wearing a gloss black poly finish bolted to a maple neck with a 21 fret fingerboard, it weighs 3.5kg's. Loaded with Fender Japan ceramic single coil pickups and Japanese pots, this one appears to be all original as pictured with a six-point tremolo system and Fender Japan stamped saddles along with the original Japanese tuners.
Good vintage condition with only light signs of wear and tear as pictured. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts well, the frets are shiny and have plenty of life.
