Bought this guitar virtually new. I left it in the case, and basically played it one time in my living room.
It's a stunning instrument. Candidly, I have too many guitars, and have a sentimental attachment to a NAMM-show Huber Orca. I debated handedly which to sell and which to keep.
This guitar feels much better to me. I love the matte finish on he neck. But the Orca is slightly more versatile with two humbuckers, push-pull pots, etc...
Still. this is an incredible guitar. Bridge is perfect searing but fat humbucker tone. The stable pickup in the neck is a very cool high-resolution version of a single-coil. It's just a killer instrument.
I'm not an expert of these guitars, but this one has a spectacular flamed maple top, which is a special addition to the standard Macon Vintage.
