Joyo Voodoo Octave w/ Fox (Foxx Tone Machine) Mods

Underneath the unassuming exterior of this green machine lurks the heart of a Fuzz Monster! For sale is this Joyo Voodoo Octave Fuzz w/ the "Fox/Foxx Tone Machine Mod" in Very Good, gently Used condition.

In order to unleash its potential, I’ve modded it to match the schematic of the pedal it’s based on — the legendary Foxx Tone Machine — more closely. This involves switching the placement of two sets of capacitors and results in a stronger, more consistent Octave tone up and down the neck, although it’s still at its best/strongest past the 7th fret or so and when using a neck pickup. I also changed the values of the caps connected to the “mid cut” switch to give the “cut” tone a bit more presence — in its stock form it’s basically unusable. Now, it’s ready to rock and roll!

Note: If this modded pedal has ANY problems while in normal use over the next year, I will be happy to repair it (or replace it, if necessary) free of charge. I sign, date, and take pics of all my mods so there’s a record of what was done and when. If there’s a problem, just send me a message & we will work out the shipping details. (As long as it’s continental US, I will pay shipping both ways for repairs. After a year, I will still repair and return-ship for FREE, but I will ask for the buyer to pay to ship the pedal to me.)
