Passive Diode Transformer Summing Mixer Saturator for Mixing Music and Audio

The superb Diode Transformer summing mixer! This thing's amazing. Each input channel has a set of diodes with a pair of supernice transformers we had made at the stereo / summed output ... so Plenty of options for lovely analog saturation. However! - It's a beautiful clean machine until we push into it. In the video there are four different loops - the first run through is just summed in the box so no processing - then for the next runs through we progressively saturate the components - until at the end things are sounding might crispy - and mighty present! With low saturation settings though - you can immediately hear the mix elements getting more focused - there's more clarity, and a widening of the sound stage - the mix just sounds nicer, better, more finished and much more 3d. Listen to how the 808’s / subs play with the low mids, and also how the mid and high frequencies find their space without any harshness.

These units are hand made on my kitchen table so may have some scratches / scuffs. Just sayin.
