Here is a beautiful 1965 Gibson SG Standard with untouched original electronics(all volume and tone pots dated 1965).All original chrome hardware,including....maestro vibrato tailpiece,bridge with nylon saddles and original tuners. The original patent number pickups have a clarity,bark,bite and dymamics that I just don't hear in modern humbuckers.At a light weight of 7 pounds and 1 ounce,this guitar is very acoustically resonant and snappy,due to it's dark Brazilian rosewood fretboard,1 piece Honduran mahogany body and 1 piece Honduran mahogany neck.Long before I owned this guitar,it was refinished by the Gibson factory back to it's original cherry nitro finish.(I believe it had faded to an ugly brown).lifting the pickguard off,the original finish remains and is an exact match to the rest of the guitar(Bravo Gibson!)Feel free to contact me for any additional information.
