-Condition-

This instrument was manufactured 67 years ago. While it has undergone repairs and replacements, the workmanship is highly precise. The most noticeable feature is undoubtedly the large Lester flat-style pickguard. Crafted from thick tortoiseshell-patterned material with beveled edges, it boasts a meticulous finish and exceptionally high quality. The original pickguard is included separately inside the case. Additionally, the tuners have been replaced from Grover Rotomatic to Kluson Waffleback. Washers marks from the Grover tuners are visible on the headstock face, and when the tuners are removed, filled screw holes can be seen on the back of the headstock. The neck back has been refinished from the heel to the diamond volute, offering a grip feel like new.

While there are minor scratches, paint variations, and weather checking around the headstock and various body areas, considering the manufacturing year, these are all age-appropriate or in surprisingly good condition for its age.

With light gauge strings installed, the neck has a gentle forward bow. The string height is approximately 3.0mm over the 6th string at the 12th fret and approximately 2.1mm over the 1st string at the 12th fret. While slightly high, the saddle height is maintained at approximately 2.5mm under the 6th string and approximately 2.0mm under the 1st string through saddle adjustment.
