I started this project in 2018 with my big love for desktop synthesizers when I was still studying electrical engineering. During the time I paused the project and I never finished it completely even if it was at 80% state.
I want to give someone the chance to finish what I have begun for a bargain of the amount of work, love & material costs that I’ve spent on this. The wiring needs to be done, the side brackets need to be cared of with a little window for the side panel.
~400€ Cost of electronic parts
~500€ Custom CNC made Housing with custom faceplate design
~50€ additional parts for assembly, Poweradaptors, mountings, cables, Knobs etc
Instructions can be found on the MFOS soundlab ultimate website and the community is still partly active.
So far what I have done here:
Complete custom housing with custom 80s inspired faceplate. 4mm Banana Jacks & optional usage of an Arduino Midi to CV converter to be able to play with your keyboard. Really high quality Potentiometers, Potentiometer Caps, Jacks and switches
1A MFOS Power switching adapter + Custom fused Transformator 230-5V & 230-12V for Arduino With an additional Net Filter
I would love seeing some Synth geek finding and finishing the idea I started as student. I can not convince myself finishing and using it but I’m happy to actively support
