Vintage Black Chipboard Electric or Bass Guitar Case - 1960s? 1970s?

All latches, hinges, and the handle are intact and in working condition. The case's interior storage compartment and still there, but the neck support will need to be reattached (glue!) to be sturdy. The interior is a funky bright red color.
It's an odd size and shape...we aren't sure what came in it originally, so if you know, let us know! The stencil on the front says Sundown, Louisville KY.
Inside dimensions: 43.5" Long, 11.5" wide at the lower bout. The body cavity is 4" deep.
