SPECS:

• Inlays: Abalone pearl borders around the perimeter of the top, sides, back, adjacent to the fingerboard, and around the middle soundhole rosette ring
• Bindings: Grained ivoroid
• Fingerboard: Solid genuine ebony with traditional Style 45 snowflake inlay pattern and abalone pearl border around the top perimeter
• Peghead Veneer: Brazilian Rosewood with standard D-45 C.F. Martin vertical abalone letters
• Headstock Binding: Abalone pearl bordering adjacent to the top and side surfaces, with additional delicate bands of abalone pearl bordering the sides of the neck, including the neck heel and neck heel cap
• Back Strip: Carefully inlaid and mitered abalone pearl

BODY:

• Back and Sides: Handcrafted from Martin’s highest grade of select East Indian rosewood
• Top: Highest quality solid Sitka spruce, slightly toned to reduce the new look and accentuate the pearl top and tortoise color pickguard
• Braces: High performance 1/4" width scalloped braces for an incredibly big sound

NECK:

• Fingerboard Width at Nut: 1-3/4"
• Headstock: Solid, enabling the use of enclosed tuning gears
• Tuning Machines: Gold enclosed Schallers with ebony buttons inlaid on both faces with an abalone “M”
• Bridge: Ebony with wider 2-1/4" spacing and abalone snowflakes inlaid into both fluted edges

• Label: Special parchment label personally signed by C.F. Martin IV, including the serial number and each instrument’s position in the series of 50
