Louder Than Liftoff Mr. Focus with the Implode (1176) and Mass Drivr modules installed. Kept racked in a smoke-free home studio.

Mister Focus - COMP a two-knob compressor with character.  The compression is either classic 1176 FET limiting powered by our Implode module, or aggressive FET compression powered by our special edition Avenson Audio MN-50 Smash Compressor module.  Our single-knob FOCUS EQ can be placed before or after this stage for effortless tone shaping pre or post compression.  The signal lastly passes through the MEGA stage powered by the Mass Drivr module.  This features a discrete 2520 style op amp driving a beefy sounding output transformer, which can be toggled on or off.

 The MASS DRIVR brings classic American console sound to the Colour format. This circuit was inspired by the discrete Line Amplifer used throughout vintage American recording consoles from the 70's. In order to fit within the space limitations of the Colour format we developed a custom steel output transformer that offers the characteristic punch of the famed circuit. The transformer is driven by an integrated version of the Rogue Six discrete op amp used in the very initial run of Void Corp Edition Silver Bullets. This simple, yet powerful combination can be used to add density and weight to individual tracks and mixes.
