Based on the original Catalyst module from Emblematic Systems, the Catalyst Controller redefines macro control with its eight highly precise CV outputs and a responsive crossfader designed for seamless scene transitions. Each scene represents a snapshot of up to eight CV outputs, akin to a modular preset. You can navigate through a "pathway" formed by multiple scenes using either the crossfader or an external CV signal. Alternatively, you have the option to instantly switch between scenes using dedicated scene buttons. The Catalyst Controller allows you to record both CV and slider movements, which can then be played back at your command, either through a button press or an external trigger.

Each CV output delivers sub-millivolt precision and offers a wide voltage range, spanning from -5V to +10V. You have the flexibility to fine-tune channels with adjustable morphing curves, quantization to common scales, voltage range restrictions, or the choice to output gate signals.

Whether you employ it as a CV preset manager, a generator for seamless transitions, a chord sequencer, a CV recorder, or an experimental playground for creative CV manipulation, the Catalyst Controller empowers you to take complete control of your modular setup. It's an evolution of the original Catalyst module from Emblematic Systems, condensed into a compact 20HP format for your convenience.

Controller FunctionGenerator Sequencer

Two modules in one

The Catalyst Sequencer can turn into a Catalyst Controller, and vice-versa! Hold down a special button combination to change between sequencer and macro controller modes. If you end up buying one module but liking the other one more, you can remove the double-sided faceplate, flip it over, and re-install with the other artwork visible.
