This Fender Custom Shop instrument was crafted by the now former Fender Master Builder, Levi Perry. During his time with the Custom Shop, Levi worked on many prestigious projects, such as the Limited Edition George Harrison Rocky Stratocaster, and the of course El Mocambo series of instruments.

Over the years, weâve received countless Fender Custom Shop instruments crafted by Levi Perry. His attention to detail, craftsmanship, and unique vision have always led to some incredibly creative and inspiring guitars. Weâve long been massive fans of his work, and it didnât take long for our customers to feel the same way. Levi has now moved on from the Fender Custom Shop to begin his own project âGavilan Guitarsâ. This is a unique opportunity to pick up one of the last brand new Fender Custom Shop Levi Perry Masterbuilt instruments available.

Masterbuilt Fenders are truly the cream of the crop and the Levi Perry '52 Tele is no exception. Unusually, this tele features an Okoume body in a Trans Walnut finish with white top binding - it's a unique piece that definitely stands out from the the crowd. The Large "C" Maple neck feels a treat to play, measuring .875" at the 1st fret and .950" at the 12th, and with a classic 9.5" radius it's a joy to play.

A standout feature of this guitar has got to be the pickups. Hand wound by the highly acclaimed Josefina Campos, Fender's Master Pickup Winder who trained under Abigail Ybarra, the 51 Nocaster and Original Blackguard single coils offer a versatile growling bridge position paired with the sweet and twangy neck position. It sound's a treat!
