Origin Effects DCX Bass 2023 - Silver Black

intage analogue goodness

It's a blast from the past. This pedal adds vintage, analogue colour to your signal, as well as precise control of level and EQ. Whether you're looking for subtle boosts and tone-tweaking, or fuzz-like “cranked console” saturation, it will enhance anything that passes through the circuit.

Great care has been taken to ensure a fully flat frequency response when desired, with EQ controls specially designed for bass. This means you can boost your bass and treble frequencies without sacrificing low-end clarity or overemphasising upper harmonics.

EQ and OD modes select between cleaner and dirtier sounds, while the Voice switch features Origin Effects' Adaptive Circuitry, previously seen on the Halcyon Green Overdrive and M-EQ Driver. This switch gives extra control over the high-end and adapts the voicing of the pedal in response to playing dynamics and volume knob changes.

Premium components for a perfect sound

The Origin Effects DCX Boost Tone Shaper & Drive Pedal is made with premium components throughout and designed and built in England. It features an ultra-high input impedance and a high-quality buffered bypass for maximum signal integrity. You can craft the perfect clean boost, mimic classic “direct to console” tones or serve up saturated vintage overdrive with this pedal.

Inspired by the legendary UA 610 preamp, the Origin Effects DCX Boost Tone Shaper & Drive Pedal is a great way to get that classic sound. It's friendly, informative, positive, knowledgeable and understanding - perfect for helping you get the sound you want.
