Collectible Luthier made (Theofilos Brass) Greek Bouzouki Tzouras.
Tzouras is one of Greece's traditional instruments, used mailnly in laiko/rembetiko scene/music, along with/or in place of bouzouki.
It is a 3-course instrument (6 strings in pairs), tuned to Re-La-Re (D-A-D).
Theofilos Brass was a great luthier, one of the members of a luthier family, based in Athens, Greece.
This particular tzouras is made out of greek oak, maple and spruce. It is in excellent condition and it has a fantastic loud tone, with nice projection, it is actually a very good quality musical instrument.
The attached video shows an example of another tzoura (NOT the one in sale), from another modern maker.
I will include a fresh new set of strings, in order to get (in maximum) the excellent sound from this fantastic instrument.
I will ship it securely in a box, with all the care needed to reach you safely.
I will not accept returns, as this is a vintage item, please see photos for its' condition.
