Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day received his Fernandes S-style RST-50 as a 10th. birthday present from his Mother.
This faithful reproduction has been painstakingly built to aesthetically match one of the iterations of this famous guitar.The S-style body has undergone a comprehensive relicing / cosmetic process including the appropriate stickers. .An authentic Seymour Duncan JB humbucker has been appropriately added to the bridge position. The neck and middle pickups are functional as is the 5-position switch. After assembly, the guitar was treated to a full, professional, setup including radiused fingerboard edges, fret end polishing, relief, 1st. and 12th. action adjustments and intonation. It has been fitted with Ernie Ball 9's.
