Slide a portamento through the stratosphere! The Astrobeby lets you launch your guitar signal into synthy, theremin-like territories using a Phase-Locked Loop Voltage Controlled Oscillator. The oscillator lets you continuously glide between notes and add dynamic vibrato, controlled by pick velocity - perfect for anything from singing leads to all-out celestial chaos!
The Astrobeby features a volume control and a mix knob that lets you blend the theremin signal with a thick, heavy fuzz tone. The toggle switch lets you shift the oscillator signal between unity octave and octave up. Blend in the ‘unity octave’ to recreate an oscillation of your exact note, creating a full sounding double-tracking that retains the cosmic spirit of each note you strike. Flip the switch to ‘octave’ up for piercing sonic oscillations that would put any campy B-horror flick to shame!
(P.S. The fuzz alone sounds pretty great as well)
