The Akai MB76 provides simple automated signal routing at a very low cost. The MB76 has 7 inputs and 6 outputs and the ability to route any of the inputs to any of the outputs as well as control each channel's levels. Can be set to patches then recalled via MIDI.
Typical use is as a mixer, or to switch or manage signal chains via other rack gear. Plug all your rack effects into it, then be able to re-arrange the signal chain, patch effects in/out of the chain, run one effect to multiple other effects, then back in and mix their levels, all under computer control.
NOTE: I have 3 units for sale; price ($50) is for each unit.
