Vintage 1964 Hofner Galaxie 176 Solid Red Electric Guitar
This is one of the nicest, most iconic Hofner guitars made. The Galaxie is a wonderful 3-pickup, 60,000 knob version of the earlier Super Solid. It is a great guitar with plenty of mojo. This one was bought from the original owner in London, through a luthier workshop, and plays a dream. A few dings have been coloured in with similar looking paint, and the natural crazing - occurring on most of these models - really adds character to this guitar. The original Hofner pickups sound awesome alongside all the variations of knobs on this. Please have a close look at the high resolution photographs below, as these form part of our description.
