Genuine '60s Danelectro 12 String Bellzouki Chrome Bridge Plate New Old Stock Yes It's Flat.

In the mid '60s after he'd sold his Danelectro Company to some corporate pirates Nat Daniels embarked on a road trip or two (or maybe more...) to sell some surplus goodies to various musical dealers in his network. Operating out of the trunk of his car, Nat pulled up to your store and made you an offer you thought you couldn't refuse. You can tell from the partially intact sticker that Nat Landed Here and a retail store in Southside Virginia attempted, without much success to retail this very obscure part through their store. Nobody bought it (or much of anything else Dano...) from this outfit and they soon went out of biz. This thing bounced around from junk box to junk box until it connected with the guitar Enlightenment that is Angela. Back in the punk rock days I worked on a bunch of Danelectro Bellzoukis. That was an ambiguously ethnic teardrop shaped twelve string that jangled with plenty of attitude and you could pick 'em up used for a little bit of nothing. If you could somehow make the non-adjustable neck straight (tip; it was a heat press job...) that pile of Masonite, poplar and rosewood got the job done. This plate has some ugly sticker residue and needs cleaning but it has never been on a guitar. It's flat and the mounting holes are not distorted from string pressure. Will you ever find another one this functional?
