Columbus SG dating from the sixties and made in Japan.
This is a very nice Columbus, all original as far as I am aware apart maybe, from the strap pins, and finished in a very dark red/maroon with a black scratchplate. There are two chrome covered pickups each with an on/off switch and single volume and tone controls.
The chromed bridge is a tune-o-matic style and fully adjustable and the tremolo tailpiece, also chromed, is missing its arm. The neck is bolted on and the neckplate is stamped "made in Japan"; the fretboard has 21 frets and the headstock has the "Columbus" logo, truss rod cover and three on a side tuners. There are a few minor knocks and marks but
its a very good quality guitar and a good player.
