It plays MIDI files and gives you the opportunity to listen to masterpieces played by master players in your home and parties. Besides, it's a great learning device when you pair it with your iPad and music apps. You can literally play with an orchestra smartly and interactively.
I also have an additional Yamaha midi decoder that plays multiple instruments in an amplifier speaker along with the piano sound that comes out of this acoustic piano.
