Peavey Rockmaster Tube Rack Preamp (MODDED)
Our users rate Reverb
Up for sale is my Peavey Rockmaster (MODDED) all-tube rack preamp. It was recently serviced by Matt at High Voltage / LYNX: all pots and jacks cleaned, a full inspection, and a full re-tube with JJ 12AX7 tubes (roughly $270 put into it). It is in great condition and perfect working order.
It has also been modded by another tech:
- GAIN MOD: plate resistors changed to 200k for more aggressive/modern gain.
- COUPLING CAP MOD: coupling cap values changed to thicken up the tone and get rid of some of the "cocked wah" sound this preamp is known for.
It is killer, I am just selling to make room for some other gear.
$1,150 CAD - OBO
From a smoke-free-pet-free-child-free studio environment. Local pickup preferred but will ship for cost.
