Custom Transformer Color Box

Custom made transformer color box - designed specifically to sit on a 2 bus or a/b “alt” bus. Have used on drums occasionally With good results. it tends to fatten? a signal in a way thats pleasing to my ears. if you really drive them you can saturate them Into a noticeable edge. It has been a fun and useful piece of gear.

The transformers are wired in the 600ohm Configuration.

They are military grade Collins transformers Pulled from a well known broadcast console. They’re awesome.
