This is a Boss DD-6 Digital Delay that I modified with a second footswitch that activates a second mode. That mode is dialed in with a small trimpot that is located where the battery used to go. The position of the trimpot mimics the function of the mode knob on top. However, it is not notched like the original mode knob, so it can take a little time to dial in the setting you want.
This modification means that you can no longer power this pedal with a 9v battery, unfortunately.
The finish on the pedal itself is a little scarred (the DD-6 hasn't been made in about 15 years) but the circuit board is in great shape. There is velcro on the bottom, as shown in the pictures.
I will ship this pedal with the "Hold" mode dialed in on the second switch. A quick tap will cause a really cool, infinitely repeating stutter sound.
PLEASE don't ask me if I will perform this mod on one of your pedals - doing it requires desoldering the original mode knob and there is always a chance that you may damage the PCB when doing this. I'd rather not run the risk of frying your pedal and then owing you a replacement. I believe this is one of the reasons why Loophole, JHS, Kinnatone no longer offer this service.
