Wefve received a used YAMAHA LS6 ARE.

The gLh series carries on the acoustic guitar craftsmanship that YAMAHA has cultivated over many years.

This LS6 ARE model combines a small, easy-to-hold body with a solid top treated with A.R.E., a technology also used in higher-end models.

Key specifications include a solid Engelmann spruce top, rosewood sides and back, a 5-piece neck made of mahogany and rosewood, and a rosewood fingerboard and bridge.

The top features Yamahafs proprietary A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) treatment, which alters the acoustic properties of the wood. Furthermore, the improved non-scalloped X-bracing structure delivers a rich resonance and well-balanced sound.

As for its condition, there are some scratches and scuffs from use. In particular, there is some discoloration on the binding at the right end of the neck.
There is slight warping visible on the top.

The neck has a very slight forward bow, and the string action at the 12th fret is approximately 2.5 mm on the 6th string side and approximately 2.0 mm on the 1st string side.
The truss rod has approximately 30 degrees of adjustment remaining in the tightening direction, but the range for future adjustments is somewhat limited. The neck is currently in playable condition.
The frets are at a playable height, with approximately 80% of their original material remaining.

There are no issues with the electronics.

We have performed saddle adjustments at our shop.

The original gig case is included.
