The Loop-Master Pedals 8-Way TRS Isolated Patcher gives you eight individually wired 1/4" TRS connections for organizing pedalboard, amplifier, effects loop, expression, control and other audio connections.

Each channel passes Tip, Ring and Sleeve straight through to its corresponding jack on the opposite side.

All eight channels are electrically independent from one another — there are no shared signal or ground connections between channels.

And because all eight connections use TRS jacks, the patcher can also be used with standard TS connections where appropriate.

Use all eight as TRS, all eight as TS, or mix TS and TRS connections however your rig requires.

No switching. No active electronics. No power required.

All eight channels are equipped with TRS jacks, giving you maximum flexibility.

Depending on your equipment and application, you can use:

• Channels 1–4 = Standard TS audio

• Channels 5–6 = Stereo/TRS audio

• Channel 7 = Expression

• Channel 8 = TRS amp control

The 8-Way Patcher is especially useful for more complicated pedalboards using an amplifier's effects loop.

That still leaves four additional channels available for:

TRS CONTROL CONNECTIONS

Because each channel passes Tip, Ring and Sleeve, the patch bay can also extend compatible TRS control connections.

Potential applications include:

• Amp channel/reverb footswitch connections

• Other analog TRS control connections

The patcher does not alter or convert the control signal — it simply extends all three TRS conductors straight through.

BIDIRECTIONAL

There is technically no input side or output side.

Each channel is completely passive and works in either direction.

A signal or control connection can enter from either side and pass straight through to the corresponding jack.

NO SIGNAL PROCESSING

This is a completely passive patch bay.

There are:

• No active electronics

• No footswitches

• No batteries

• No power connections

• No signal conversion

IMPORTANT – WHAT “ISOLATED” MEANS

Each of the eight channels is electrically independent from the other seven channels.

There are no shared Tip, Ring or Sleeve connections between channels.

“Isolated” does NOT mean transformer isolated.

This patch bay does not contain audio isolation transformers and is not designed to provide galvanic isolation or eliminate ground loops.

It is an eight-channel passive TRS pass-through patch bay with each channel independently wired from the others.

IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY NOTE

The patch bay does not convert one connection type or control protocol into another.

TRS connections pass Tip, Ring and Sleeve straight through.

When used with TS connections, compatibility depends on the equipment being connected.

For expression, amp control, auxiliary footswitch and other control applications, always verify that a straight-through TRS extension is appropriate for your equipment.
