Seymour Duncan SLSD-1n Li'l Screamin' Demon White Pickup

Seymour Duncan SLSD-1n Li'l Screamin' Demon White Pickup

The SLSD-1n Li'l Screamin' Demon delivers aggressive, articulate midrange character in a single-coil-sized format designed for Stratocaster neck and middle positions. This hum-canceling pickup combines moderate output with precision engineering to cut through a mix while maintaining the responsiveness players expect from a quality neck-position voice.

Tone & Output

With a 9.72 kΩ DC resistance and 4.6 KHz resonant peak, this pickup emphasizes clarity and definition across the midrange without overwhelming the amp. The moderate output works equally well for clean articulation and driven tones, making it a versatile choice for players who need definition in their neck pickup.

Design & Construction

Hand-built in Santa Barbara, California, the Li'l Screamin' Demon uses a unique combination of slotted and Allen head screws to create distinct magnetic fields across each coil, enhancing the pickup's tonal complexity. Wax potting eliminates feedback and squeal, while the four-conductor cable enables flexible wiring configurations for split and phase options.
