A Really Cool Pre War 1924 4 string Maybelle A001 Tenor Banjo with the original Hardshell Case ...

This Banjo is all original but the strings and the replaced bridge. It has the original tuners, deluxe Tailpiece, lugs and skin head. This cool banjo has the 30 lugs and the pre-Maybelle inlay. This Banjo is in fantastic shape. ..check those pics.

Maybell made these Banjos only in 1924 and 1925 with the Patent Applied for stamp on the back brace. See pic 15. It has the model number stamped in two places. See pics 16 and 17. The only malady is one of the previous owners stamped his name on it. See pic 6...

Our Tech did a great job setting this cool banjo up. Great action that plays like a breeze. Its really loud! Nice low action and ready to play. He did a great job!

I don't know much about Banjos so please ask plenty of questions. I answer them all to the best of my ability..

The Case is as nice as the Banjo. Even the original handle is in place here. The Geen interior is still nice for its age. As you can see, the lower treble body bout has banged up the interior. It has duct tape to hold it somewhat together. The new owner can deal with that. The accessory box is still with it and we even have the original head tightening drum key. See pic 11.... No funny smells here. It is still a great original Hardshell case for this cool banjo..

Sold as-is no returns as its vintage and used. Thanks for respecting that.
