*NOS RCA MI-6203- Varacoustic Ribbon Microphone -1950's #5 (like 77dx)

Letting go of a very rare *New Old Stock* RCA Varacoustic Ribbon Microphone from the 1950's (#5 I am offering). This microphone was in its original packaging and it was never wired to XLR. Colepicksvintage in Nashville recently added the xlr and this mic is incredible. These mics share the same ribbon motor as an RCA 77D and DX and produce a very warm and rich sound. These are total sleeper mics, if ya know ya know. While their ribbon motors are the same as a 77d/dx, the Varacoustic's have different bodies, acoustic labyrinths, transformers, etc. Regardless of their differences, the RCA Varacoustic is a wonderful ribbon microphone of its own.
